California Western Artwork by Andy Thomas

California!!  Settlers heading west...

California and all its glory. People looked for the land of opportunity.  Their journey, five months and 2000 miles of perseverance, nears the end. They’ve passed over the beautiful but merciless Sierra Nevada.  Sunny California, that symbol of golden optimism, welcomes them.
